AMD Teases First Radeon RX 6000 Video Card Picture

In a very brief teaser, AMD this afternoon has released a picture of their first Radeon RX 6000 video card.
No further details about the card are given, but based on the sizable triple fan design and dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors, it stands to reason that we’re looking at one of AMD’s high-end card designs. Overall the design looks reminicant of the Radeon VII, which is not terribly surprising since that is the last high-end (high-powered) video card released by AMD.
Don’t be surprised if we see more teasers over the coming weeks, as AMD gears up for its October CPU and GPU presentations. AMD will be holding its “Next Generation Radeon Graphics” keynote on October 28th at noon Eastern.

Goalpost moving has become a sport of late. First the complaints were all about no announcement. So they announced an announcement - so the complaints changed to them not giving any more details. So now we get this - and accompanying complaints about not getting anything else. It's like some of these people have never seen a GPU release before.There will be the same whingeing all the way up until the release, then on release there will be grumbles that they're not 10% faster at a 10% lower price with double the RAM, then the usual bitching about drivers, and finally kvetching that Nvidia is releasing new cards soon anyway.

Lol, found the inevitable dude making a fool of himself because he hasn't found out that Ampere is nearly a paper launch. It's worse than the Radeon VII launch quantity wise buddy. Even if you wanted to buy one, you're not going to be able to. And by the time RDNA 2 drops in late October (or November at the latest) there's a very good chance you'll be able to find one of those more easily than a RTX 3080/3090 STILL. Samsung's 8nm yields are pretty damn trash still. ESPECIALLY for dies this ginormous.And you seem to be forgetting that the RTX 3070 doesn't even come out until late next month... Aka when the RDNA 2 event is...

I've heard that Samsung hields are "healthy" - where did you hear they are trash?Also, according to Moore's law is dead, it won't be a paper launch, although FE cards will be very limited due to the cost of the cooler and non-FE more expensive than suggested RRP for the same reason.
