I would not hesitate to rip that oversized triple-fan nonsense off and just waterblock the entire PCB. That said, I wish other manufacturers would take EVGA's approach and make fully blocked versions of their cards, even if it meant playing ball with companies like EK. Watercooling should not be limited to just reference cards, and makes almost no sense when these over-engineered non-reference designs are the better product that would benefit more from it.
