Though probably the tablet I would be closest to buying in the current market, I'm still holding out for a windows tablet.

Can't wait for a full on review of this tablet.

Actually if the price is right I might just pull the trigger for this one rather than wait for Win 8 tablets.

I think them releasing the Prime and then this so quickly after is dissapointing. I have a prime and actually like it and have no problems - but if this was out at the same time I would have of course preferred and purchased this :(

At least the only differences are the plastic on the back and the screen...neither is too huge for me

You will be very disappointed to know that in 10 months there will be much better tablet than yours and in 20 years there will be a tablet that will blow your current tablet away!

    Just suck it up!

It's been ages since I have seen a good display on a laptop. I just hope that we some of the great panels in these tablets tickle up into the laptop segment.

That screen would do 10x more good in a 10.1" laptop.
Please let this DPI "revolution" bleed out to regular computer monitors faster...

    Hell, I'd take 19x12 in a 20" desktop monitor. 1680x1050 just isn't enough.

    A 1920x1200 27" monitor is easily had for $250. Hard/impossible to find in a 20" though, but I like my 27"

    Find a used IBM T221 - 3840x2400 or 4x 1920x2400. Of course you won't get 120hz or even 60hz - its a 48hz monitor.

Saw these 13.3" laptops in the Sony Store...1080p resolution and they looked good. Bad news was Sony's crazy prices.....$2K for something w/ a fixed 4GB of memory ??? :-P

It's thinner than the MBP13's hump, and lighter, too (all while running a full speed dual core). It's the Vaio Z2, and I think Anandtech has a writeup on it. Cliffs: Screen second to none on 13" laptops. External HD6650m dock is good idea, but flawed - like many points of the laptops.

Its great that the display is fantastic, but how is the keyboard and trackpad? I know that the initial transformer did not have the best trackpad. It would be nice if ASUS would go all out on the trackpad as they are doing with the display or allow 3rd party manufacturers to make a better keyboard dock.
